My son is currently part of my Medicaid plan and has been since birth. It is renewal time and I had to update information with my state, which included that dad and I live together. They are now requiring income verification for dad and said, depending on his income, my son might have to be switched to dad’s insurance. Here’s the situation. Dad’s insurance is still through his dad and I honestly don’t think the coverage is as good as I’m getting through Medicaid. Is there anything that can be done to keep my son under me with Medicaid?
