My dermatologist recommended I use a special use pharmacy to get my doxycycline – I believe they are a subsidiary of ASPN pharmacy. I pay $10 once a month for the doxycycline. Recently I noticed my deductible was almost met and I was confused. It turns out this pharmacy has been reporting the total charge for the prescription of anywhere from $400-$600 each month. They report that my insurance pays $0 and I paid 100% of that expensive cost- but it’s not true.
Any idea why this may be? Do I have anything to worry about?
