I have BCBS TX. Or had. I changed jobs within the company but am still with my same employer, though the insurance plan was supposed to change slightly. Instead my employer simply cancelled my insurance plan. I found out a week ago and have been struggling to get someone to do something about this. I have preexisting conditions, including high blood pressure and surgically absent thyroid, and am beginning to be afraid they won’t get this fixed in time for me to fill those prescriptions. I’ve already missed my migraine preventive and am having more headaches as a result.
How long is something like this supposed to take? Does it really take a week or more? I am scared and it’s all I can think about.
