I work remotely for a company out of my home state and im finally eligible for benefits. as someone who never had insurance before, im a little confused as to how that would work for me as im in a different state. when I click on the linked documentation from the company, it takes me to a page that is based in my company’s state and not my home state so im a little confused here. will I still be able to use this insurance in my state? will I pay more if I visit a doctor that is in my home state? is the health insurance even worth it since ive never had it for the past 5 years? the monthly payments don’t look too bad and I can afford it but since I’ve never had insurance before, im not even sure how to gauge if my plan is good or bad.
