So I got an internship for right when I graduate college and it’s in another state (that I plan on settling in). I am over 26 years old, so I am unable to use my parent’s insurance. The internship is for 3 months. Once I find full-time employment I will just get insurance through the company, but since I am an intern I won’t have that.
Are there any insurance plans I can enroll in temporarily just in case I get into a medical emergency such as a car crash or natural disaster during my internship? I am very healthy and never need to go to the doctors or anything, I just don’t want to pay out my ass for the rest of my life if for some reason I end up in the hospital.
