I’m a college kid and was being really stupid and drank way more than I should have. A friend called the police and I ended up getting admitted to the hospital. I stayed overnight, and they gave me an IV.
I’m really worried about the bill and was just wondering if anyone has an estimate to what the bill could be. I googled it and it said that my insurance should cover the ambulance if I was in a state where I was incapable of driving myself to the ER. And I also heard that the price should be reduced if I was admitted into the hospital instead of voluntarily going there. I called and they said the bill should come in 2 weeks. My insurance is United-healthcare by the way.
