I’m a 30 year old trying to navigate this and unfortunately this is all new to me. If someone can give me any insight, I would be grateful.
I’ve been out of work since December due to my brain surgery. I’ve been on Short Term Disability and my benefits will be terminated next month.
Unfortunately my surgery didn’t work out and I’m preparing to go for my second surgery and because I’ve been out of work for 6 months and won’t be back anytime soon, my insurance through my employer will no longer exist.
I have to find a new insurance but what can I do in my situation? Tried calling a few insurance companies and they all stated they don’t do any individual plans.
I’m out of work and currently on disability. I’m in NJ
