So I posted back a few weeks ago. The marketplace sent my application to my local state of Michigan for Medicaid determination. It came back that I was eligible for Medicaid. I received a letter on 4/6 and promptly canceled my marketplace coverage that was receiving the APTC. This has all been good but I just received a 1095-B tax form for 2020 showing my Medicaid was active from 7/2020. I’m worried now because will I have to pay the APTC back for Jan-April this year since my state will file a 1095-B stating I had Medicaid for all of 2021? I’m thinking I need to have the state change the effective date to 4/2021 or should I not worry about this?
I have a November and April letter from the Heath marketplace stating I’m eligible as well for APTC.
