My company offers me to Buy-Out my insurance. In return, they give me about 7000 per year. I was wondering if I opt-out from this group insurance coverage, is it mandatory (Federal wise-state wise-employer wise) for me to buy the insurance elsewhere? I am relatively new to the US health care system and laws.
