My husband and I just re-did our marketplace insurance due to the new executive order. We were both on the same marketplace plan with a tax credit.
I am currently pregnant as well.
Our income has changed as well, so according to the information I filled out, it said my husband was still eligible for a marketplace plan with a tax credit but that I was eligible for “free or low-cost coverage through FAMIS (but not eligible for Medicaid because my income is too high).”
I’m just so confused on my actual coverage I guess. Everything I’m reading says FAMIS is for children 19 and under (I’m 31) and that the child’s doctor visits, labs, X-rays, etc are covered.
But what about me? What happens when I have to go to the doctor for ultrasounds? Or get blood work? Where does the coverage come in for this?
Looking for any help if possible! Just super super confused and overwhelmed!
EDIT: this is the state of VIRGINIA
