COBRA insurance. Can I go back on my previous employers COBRA plan that will be subsidized and get off the COBRA I’m on now?

My current employer will not approve my COBRA to be subsidized because he’s say that I quit the job when It was a mutual decision. Because of this, he is telling COBRA that my termination was a voluntary termination instead of an involuntary termination and because of this, my COBRA will not be subsidized. I’ve only been on this COBRA for one month and I didn’t submit payment yet.

The company I worked for before this one I was let go due to COVID-19 back in March 2020. I was on COBRA with this company. Now this company contacted me this week and told me they are going to send me COBRA information so I can go back on it and it will be subsidized.

So my question is can I leave the COBRA I’m on now to go back on my previous jobs COBRA?

I’m retty desperate right now as most of us are so any advice would help!
