26 year old getting kicked off parents insurance. Need advice

As the title says, I’m 26, and at the end of this month I’ll be off my parents insurance. I’m graduating from pharmacy school and will be starting a residency in July. Because of this, I will just need coverage for the month of June. I believe I would qualify for my state’s (Nebraska) Medicaid, but I wanted to see if there were any negatives towards this vs. pursuing COBRA or some other form of short term coverage. Any thoughts/insights would be greatly appreciated.
