Hey long story short. I’m a travel nurse whose contract ended at the beginning of April. Worked for 9 months in California. Got burned out so I decided to take some time off. April 30th my Coverage through Aetna was ended because I was no longer working. I played in a volleyball tournament on May 2nd, my knee went crunch, pop, boom. So now I might possibly need surgery and I don’t have insurance. I have gone to the marketplace and it says I qualify for insurance. Am I able to just pick the best insurance that will cover the most of the surgery? It just doesn’t seem right. Thanks for any information.
