I have just started at a new job, and their health coverage is listed as BAS/ELAP. Through some research, I’ve found that both BAS and ELAP are administrators of RBP (reference based pricing) plans. Though they seem to save employers a fair bit of money, it has been very hard to find anything about how these plans work for employees. If anybody has direct experience with an RBP plan or knows more about them, I’d greatly appreciate it. If it helps, I’m in Missouri.
