Insurance for Married Couple in USA Planning to Have Kids When Wife isn’t Employed?

My husband and I currently have insurance through our respective employers. However, in the next year, I plan to quit working to focus on raising our children. We can live off his salary alone but I will lose my insurance. His company doesn’t offer very good insurance and it’s very expensive to add me onto his policy. My question is, what is my best option for health insurance? We do plan to have more children in the next few years so it’s important for me to have good coverage. I looked into private options but it’s all very overwhelming. I’ve always had employer health coverage so this is my first time navigating it myself. He doesn’t plan to switch employers since he’s quickly moving up in the company.

Edit: We’re both 27 and live in Virginia. Current annual income is about $110,000 but will drop to around $60,000 initially once I quit working.
