Can a Married Couple have two HDHP?

Here’s my intent/background info:

My work offers a HDHP for families that is 100% covered after 6k out of pocket. They also contribute $1500 to an HSA account.

My wife’s work offers a HDHP that is ridiculously expensive for a family, but completely free for just her coverage. They also offer a generous $1500 to an HSA account for her.

So I would like to setup an HDHP for the both of us through my work. I would also like for her to sign up herself for her works HDHP so we can get the free $1500 in HSA money. We would then only provide my insurance information to all doctors, hospitals, etc. so that her insurance is essentially never used. With both HSA accounts this would keep medical expenses to cap out at 3k per year (plus free 3k from HSA).

Is this allowed? Is there any reason to believe this wont work? Is this unethical?

I dont see anything wrong with it. My work is obviously perfectly willing to cover the both of us on our insurance plan and her work is basically getting a deal by never having any insurance costs for her and they obviously want to have the perk of providing HSA funds for employees.

Let me know your thoughts and thanks in advance for your responses
