so i don’t mind posting details since they’re important. basically i have a chronic autoimmune disease that requires i get medication via IV infusion every 8 weeks. i also happen to despise my current job. it feels bad to give up when i have things all situated with my doctor and pharmacy, but i wouldn’t be considering it if i didn’t feel extremely compelled to.
i know getting a new job involves a benefit lag where you can’t use it for X number of months/days.. what options do i realistically have? i know COBRA exists but i don’t personally know anyone who has used it that i can ask.
i live in Phoenix AZ, 36 years old, income is about 70k yr any advice is appreciated
