Is there a way to get my health insurance to cover something that isn’t covered?

Okay so this is pretty stupid. My health insurance overall is REALLY good, vision, dental, catastrophic is all covered nearly 100%. However it has no coverage for hearing and hearing aids which is pretty awful considering my old insurance did cover ONE hearing aid every three years. Because of this I only got one earing aid but it never worked well on its own. So I am kind of screwed.

Can I appeal my health insurance to cover this because this is a documented disability going back to 2006 when I was diagnosed with a Auditory Processing Disorder with auditory neuropathy which is part of my speech impediment. Like I have all that documentation still. My hearing has gotten worse and so I am right now screwed.

That said my old insurance was crap minus the hearing and eye. Like I was in the ER for 5 hours and paid 4000 out of pocket, plus 2000 right there in the ER. My current insurance it cost my mom only 200 hundred dollars for the ER and only 1300 for a three night stay in the hospital.
