Hi all! My husband and I work for a local school system and our current plan expires June 30. My husband will be working in a new school system next year and his coverage there will begin September 1. We are expecting a baby in June, but if I have myself, the baby, and my husband on my plan, our insurance premium is over half my paycheck.
Would you recommend looking on the marketplace for two months worth of cheap coverage for my husband or just not covering him for 2 months? Are there fines for not having health insurance?! I am clueless and my HR has NOT been helpful.
