Using New York essential plan out of state?

Has anyone done this? I have the essential plan 1 from New York State of health. I’m visiting my family out of state (Louisiana) for an extended period of time and I don’t know if my insurance will work here. Does anyone know? I suppose I will call them but just wondering if anyone knows about this.

Edit: I have the briefcase icon on my card which I think means access to the bluecard network. What does that mean exactly? Does that mean my insurance will cover providers out of state for the same cost as in state?
