I am doing an internship where I have been asked to create a screen simulator for the monitor of a machine. After studying all of the possibilities, I have reached the conclusion that Adobe Captivate is the most flexible and complete tool. It not only has a simple and dynamic interface to use similar to powerpoint, but you can also program to create special effects and more advanced actions.
