Is my coinsurance being covered by my employer?

I recently started working full-time at my job and finally signed up for insurance benefits (United Healthcare). My co-pay is listed on my member card, but I’m a little confused about the coinsurance part of the plan. My coinsurance is $3000, and the documents listed in my employee benefits says:

Employee contribution: $0

Company contribution: $300 every scheduled paycheck

Are the “contributions” toward my coinsurance? Or towards something else?
