So at the very end of April, I switched from Kaiser to Cigna. On April 13th I got my second covid shot at a Kaiser facility using only my Kaiser insurance. Kaiser had no other insurance on file to bill (they couldn’t have because we didn’t have Cigna yet), but today I received a bill from Cigna for an out of network visit to Kaiser on the 13th… again I used Kaiser for this visit before coverage expired, and didn’t even have Cigna until weeks afterward. I have never filed a claim with Cigna. What is happening here? How does this claim exist? (I’m aware it’s an illegal bill an won’t be paying)
