Hi! I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. Feel free to delete if necessary. I’m 19 years old, living in Minnesota on my parents’ health insurance. I’ve got a psych evaluation at a local mental health center coming up soon. My insurance covers the costs completely. This isn’t exactly something I want to tell my parents about, as it’s kinda embarrassing and their views on mental health are a bit “outdated” for lack of better term.
Will they find out about this visit? It isn’t a court ordered exam or anything, this was suggested by a therapist I chatted with earlier this year to help me get to the bottom of the struggles I was going through and hopefully get me a proper diagnosis.
