Benefit Inquiry – Advice Needed On Upcoming Benefit Enrollment

I work for a company in TX that provides modest benefits in line with most established companies. The Open Enrollment deadline for my company is this Friday, so I really need some help optimizing my benefit enrollment for my family of 3.

Benefit providers:

Aetna for Medical Anthem Blue Vision (EyeMed) for Vision Delta Dental for Dental

Here are my quick relevant facts:

Aetna is offered for medical, Anthem Blue Vision (for vision, and Both myself and my spouse are age 25 We have a newborn that is 6 weeks old (Family size of 3 for us and our baby) I make about 78k gross, while my wife is currently a stay-at-home-mom. (no other significant income) We have significant student loan debt, and a fair amount of credit card debt. Wife and I have previously used a high-deductible plan and maxed out our HSA contributions, and we had this medical plan for the full extent of my newborn’s pregnancy and birth, and all relevant expenses throughout. My wife and I both spend roughly $750ish on optometry each year with contacts, glasses, etc. My wife and I do not own any property. The three of us frequent the chiropractor (baby is on a specific plan which basically monitors her nervous system) We have historically not used FSA contributions, which are offered by my company. We do not have the option of using any benefits offered by our parents.

I have narrowed my enrollment questions down to the following items in order of importance:

Medical (Aetna) : Should I select 1) Aetna Select EPO, 2) Aetna Choice POS II (Open Access), or 3) Aetna HDHP HSA? Dental (Delta Dental) : Should I select 1) Delta Dental DMO, or 2) Delta Dental PPO? Should I contribute partially or max out the FSA offered for 1) myself, 2) my spouse, 3) my newborn, or 4) all 3 of us? Is there anything else I should consider that I have not already addressed?

Highly appreciate any insight into my best options… I am new to this and want to make sure my family is taken care of properly.

Thanks!!!
