So, I just found out, her parents never “kicked” her off their insurance, we didn’t know we needed to, and now their insurance is functioning as primary
1) Which deductible is getting paid? Like once I hit out OOPM, we have 100% coverage for the year. I know it seems selfish, but I want it to be OUR insurance because she is aging out of theirs in 5 months, and plus they canceled her from their insurance when I told them about this situation which is not what I wanted them to do..
2) Am I going to need to pay both deductibles / OOPM? Like theirs is $6k and ours is $6k, And I cannot afford $12k..
