Hi Reddit!
I made a burner account for this post since my main could be tracked back to me.
I’m currently a 25 year old working at a job I don’t love. I’m in the process of exploring other opportunities but the only thing holding me back is my understanding of benefits and I’m looking for advice.
I use my employee health insurance for physical therapy following a recent knee surgery (continuing for 8-10 weeks). I also have a monthly prescription as well as a weekly visit with a therapist.
My question is; if I were to leave my job how would that affect my coverage?
Is it possible to purchase the same coverage without going through my employer without any gaps in my coverage?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
