I am seeking prescription drug records and other records pertaining to my medical care from various different health insurance providers that I had when I was a child and a dependent on my mother’s health insurance plan in the late 1990s to 2004. I am running into roadblocks with this, being told that no such information is available past 7-10 years and am seeking advice on what specific entity to contact regarding this as I understand insurance providers typically archive information for a very long time, if not forever due to legal and medical implications that have the potential to come up.
