Hello. I need to get insurance for me as an individual. My employer doesn’t offer health insurance and I make more than the amount for subsidized insurance.
I need to see a doc/specialist about once a month. I have BCBS currently and would like to keep them as I like my doc and my specialty medicine it’s hard to find a doc that focuses on my illness. Further, I need “behavioral health” coverage. I also split time between CO/MA/CA and would like to have something that covers out of state visits. I was offered 3 HMOs from BCBS and non of them came closer to covering my needs on top of high premiums and deductibles.
No idea what to do. Please help. Health insurance in this country is enough to make me want to never live in this country.
