I have Bluecross Blueshield high deductible plan. My max oop is $7000. My insurance resets July 1st. We met the $7000 back in February. My wife had to have gallbladder surgery last week, and now our max oop is $8000. BCBS keeps claiming it was always $8000 but i have proof it was $7000. There is also a dozen or so claims made between march and last week that were 100% covered. Can insurance just randomly increase the max oop for the plan year?
