Thank you for taking the time to read over this.
On June 26th, I had a endure stroke like symptoms (wobbling, muscle imbalance (left side only), slurring words, and thought I was having a stroke. I had been going through this pain for about two weeks hoping it was something that would brush off but on the 26th it was hitting me the hardest. Rare for my age to have a stroke but wanted to be sure everything checked out.
Went in, had blood work that was taken and doctor suggested for me to a brain CT scan. Both scan and bloodwork came back fine and I was sent home. Still today I still feel wobbly and have constant headaches and I am in the process of seeing a neurologist.
Today, I received a denied claim and a bill for $4,000 from Blue Cross Anthem NC stating they will not cover it. Who do I contact first them or my doctors?
**BTW, they also denied my chest MRI 6 times (sent from 3 different doctors) this March-May and I had to go out and do that out of pocket.
