PSA, Healthcare.gov JavaScript Syntax Error Prevents Enrollment

A JavaScript syntax error on the final step of the enrollment process of the healthcare.gov website prevents submission of the final step in plan enrollment in Firefox. It works in Microsoft Edge.

What worries me is how many people have been and will be stymied by the error to the point of not enrolling in coverage. Yes they have numbers you can call for local assistance that will get people past this problem. But that’s also a process, it takes a few calls to arrange and complete. The fact is, statistically, a small percentage of millions of applicants will be balked into not getting coverage. In that group will be a smaller percentage that will suffer serious health issues without any coverage. Of those, some will, at best, be treated and burdened with crippling debt, or at worst, be crippled or die.

TL,DR: Stupid syntax errors can literally kill people.
