I recently got Invisalign while under the impression that my health insurance ( through parents ) would coverage around 5K. However, I am 5 months into my 11-month treatment and my coverage ended due to me turning 26. I was under the impression that the doctor’s office would charge the insurance all at once but it appears if the treatment is more than 6 months they have to charge in parts. Due to this the insurance company has barely paid anything and now I am left to pay for the rest of the treatment 5k … Is there any way around this ? since I started treatment under their coverage? I should also add I am now without insurance because I missed the enrollment period at my new job.
Company is Aetna
