I’m applying on healthcare.gov for health insurance since I’m losing it due to one of my parents retiring. So at the end of august I will be without the insurance that I get through her job. I have an issue with the application though. If I select that I get my current health insurance through my parents job (Employer Insurance) it seems like it thinks I can get health care from the employer in the future so I don’t qualify for the APTC. If I select that I get an “Other – Full Benefit plan” and fill out the information then I do qualify. I answered the question where it asked when you will lose your current insurance with August 31st, but it doesnt seem to take that into account. Would I get in trouble for just using the other full benefit plan option?
