I have a gap in coverage right now, and I’m 100 percent sure I can’t get COBRA at the moment. Just started a new job and HR kept blowing me off and then didn’t couldn’t get my insurance papers in on time for the next pay period. Basically I have no coverage for 15 days and I want to be covered only for extreme emergencies. Is there a way to buy one month only (no longer) of coverage for emergencies?
