I honestly feel so dumb posting this but idk where else to turn.
The long and short of it is that I got a breast reduction with an in network doctor. However my insurance deemed it unnecessary so I paid out of pocket. 3 days later I was rushed to the hospital to remove a large hematoma. Now I’m sitting with a 16k hospital bill and my insurance is saying they won’t pay for it.
At this point I feel like it might be worth it to talk to a lawyer about whether my insurance should be paying for this and if I’m getting screwed. But I have never done anything like this and have no idea what to expect.
Any insight would be appreciated
