Got my doctors visit to exchange a Skyla iud. They had to order a new one through my insurance. It got fully paid for by insurance and already delivered to their office. Altogether that’s already taken 6 weeks. However, this office can’t see me for another 6 weeks to get the procedure done.
Am I actually allowed go pick up the device from this office and get procedure done at a different obgyn office that can see me sooner?
(Already called my insurance, Cigna, they don’t know.. and my current obgyn office also doesn’t know)
