Preemptive apologies for formatting.
To be straight out I am in sort of urgent need of mental health care, as well as physical. I was unemployed for a few years and on my state’s (NJ) Medicaid plan. I recently got a job just as my plan was up for renewal. I fear that this change in employment is keeping it in limbo, as it’s been a month since I’ve submitted and have heard nothing back. I check every day and it’s still “pending”. If it’s important, I also changed my insurance provider (I think it was United Health) to a different one, because I found no doctor or therapist that took that plan. As far as I can tell, I don’t need to submit anything else, so I don’t think it’s waiting on anything. Is there anything I can do to help it along faster? Or is there something I can do in the meantime that will allow me to seek affordable therapy? I live paycheck to paycheck so I feel very limited in the help I can get at the moment, but I desperately need an option.
