title basically explains it. I am turning 26/ going off parents insurance/ am part-time/low income as I’m dealing with some [hopefully temporary] health issues that make it difficult to work/hold down a job. I really want health insurance in case of emergency, but I have a feeling medicaid will take a little while to kick in. Does anyone recommend short term plans that could basically cover prescriptions/emergency hospitalization until I have medicaid?
I have read short term plans aren’t the *greatest* and can have kind of shady stipulations (e.g. can only use benefits on certain days of the week), so I’m just wondering if anyone has had good experiences/ found certain providers that are more transparent with satisfactory coverage.
