I currently have a Humana Gold HMO plan. I may be moving in a few months (probably in the same state). I have been looking at what Insurance plans may be available in the area I move to .
I qualify for extra help to pay for prescriptions from Medicare. I found the paper they sent me saying I still qualify for extra help in 2022. Also my state pays the Medicare premium.
The letter said something about Medicare will assign me a pharmacy plan. But I already have Humana . So I was wondering does that mean I could get an insurance plan without drug coverage and Medicare would assign me one ?
I am not sure I want to switch from Humana, but I want to explore all options.
