I recently started a new job with allstate and chose the Aetna PPO insurance w advanced vision care, hospital stay coverage, accident coverage, LTD, and STD. My deductible is I believe 3.5k w co-pays. I have an eye condition that threatens blindness without treatment and will require surgery soon. For my office visits to my eye dr, would I pay for the co-pays or pay the deductible? I need both eyes done so I will be waiting for the beginning of next year to get them done as I should meet my deductible after just one surgery.
