What is the best short-term insurance option for single independent contractors in Oklahoma? (Please explain it all like I’m 5)

I just took a job that is a 90-day contract to hire. My employer that I am leaving does not offer Cobra.

I am a 29 year old male, fairly healthy, no expectation of any major surgeries or health problems in the next few months that I am aware of. I do have an underlying heart condition and have had open heart surgery and a mechanical valve, and as a result I am at a higher risk for strokes and am on medication for that, however, like I said I am pretty healthy overall. I recently went to my primary and heart specialist and everything looked good, and I run daily and eat right.

What would be the best short term insurance option just to carry as peace of mind for major medical emergencies. I have a budget of around $500 per month that I have worked into my contractor rate.
