(Cobra but not covid cobra)
Hey y’all. I quit my job and i’m getting cobra and fully intend to pay the premiums as soon as I get the paperwork in the mail.
What happens if I need an expensive Rx during the limbo period? Do I have to pay out of pocket or will they bill my (unpaid) cobra? If I pay, can I get reimbursed later, or can I have the pharmacy re-run it later and refund me?
California USA if relevant.
