Hello, I have a friend from Burma who works for a sushi company inside grocery stores, and he makes very good money. His daughter was hospitalized for 3 days, and as they have no health insurance, he received a bill of ~$20,000. He paid it, but is now looking for a good health insurance company for future incidents like this, if they do occur. I am a math/economics man and don’t care too much for the insurance industry but would like to help him out as much as possible. Any recommendations and advice for him would be great.
