Recently took my daughter in for a general psychological evaluation (noticed some oddities with her learning at school). I’m filling out a form to submit the bill as a claim (BCBSIL). The form is asking me the “date of first symptom”.
Why does this matter? I can certainly estimate the date we first thought something was wrong but I’m more curious about why the insurance company is asking me this. Are they trying to corner me somehow?
Can anyone help me understand?
