Did I do something wrong or is this just normal?

I hope this is the right place to post this, I’m confused with no place to start.

I recently saw a new doctor, in network, family/general physician, same company but different office. I saw her for a 20 minute new patient zoom visit. I assumed I’d have a copay and maybe pay a little extra after that, I’ve already met my insurance deductible. This is what’s been normal for this provider with my current insurance.

A few weeks later I just received a $600 bill for the visit, insurance covered about a hundred of it. The only bill breakdown it gives me is the $600 is for a new patient Telehealth visit. I can never remember paying this much, even for specialists (same network same provider), I’m not sure if that’s just normal and varies by doctor, if I did something wrong, or what. They already have me going back for three more visits within the next two months and $400-$600 seems insane to have to pay for a non specialist appointment, with insurance, in network.

Any advice would be appreciated.
