Stacking multiple insurance policies from same company (Aetna)

I somehow ended up with having 3 different active medical insurance policies, all from Aetna (one is from my employer, other is from spouse’s employer, the third is a student insurance plan).

Do benefits stack when a provider bills them? E.g. bill the first one, then use the remaining amount to bill the second one etc.

Also I gave all three to a pharmacy today for a 90-day supply of a brand prescription, however they didn’t stack them but just picked the one which gave the best coverage. Is this how it works in prescriptions?
