so i work for a long time friend and he is going to pay my premium for health insurance up to 1050/month….we were original going to go thru the NYS small business marketplace, i would pick the plan i want (the plan i want is 1050/month) and he would get that plan case closed but he is also opened to giving me that money every month and i can get an individual plan on my own thru the marketplace, it seems if i did it on my own i would get a little bit of financial help and they had a plan i liked on there as well…but i would prolly have to pay tax on the money??? his company is just me and him so he really never dealt with this before so we are trying to figure out the best way…any input would be great
