Hello, I am 21 years old and recently moved ou(April) with my boyfriend into our first home. Both of our parents were military so we were covered by Tricare until we were 21 and now we don’t know how to get insured.
I applied for Medicaid, however we were told that we were not eligible. My mom suggested Obamacare, but that we might not be eligible for that either. We are offered health insurance through our employees, although we don’t know much about the coverages that are offered.
Would it be best for me to see if we are eligible for Obamacare? Should I get insurance with our employers? Or maybe I should be looking into private insurance? I don’t even know any private companies to apply or look up quotes. What are the next steps?
