I’m about to find a plan on the exchange for my husband, 4 month old son and me. We had a Blue Cross PPO through my union and were taking advantage of the federal COBRA subsidy for the past several months, but it’s going to be too expensive starting October 1. We’re all healthy (knock wood) so it seems like a higher deductible plan would make the most sense, but I’m nervous about going with a bronze or silver plan—I’ve only ever had a PPO at blue cross or Cigna. Any tips for finding the right plan for us? I’m already making sure to filter for our medical group and prescriptions.
